Hi! I’m Riley. I am a 19 year old, self-taught, photographer and videographer. I grew up in Maple Ridge B.C. and ever since I was young I have been drawn to the outdoors. My love for the outdoors has influenced me both as an outdoors enthusiast but also in my photography as I attempt to capture the outdoors in its most raw form. This includes travelling to new places every year to capture what I sees and share my love of this earth with the world, with my followers on Instagram, Facebook and other online social medias.

As an outdoor, adventure photographer I have travelled across Canada, Costa Rica, Australia, and St. Kitts & Nevis to name a few places. I have also worked closely with major construction companies such as LMS Reinforcing Steel Group and EllisDon where I was tasked with creating both photo and video assets to advertise new buildings and projects in both British Columbia and Alberta. Subsequently, these images have been used as advertising in Sky Train Stations in Vancouver, media for web and presentation use, as well as prints in their offices.

Being an adventure photographer, I have seen some beautiful places, completed incredible expeditions and every time I complete one I admire adventure just a little bit more. For this project, I have decided to learn and document adventure in Wells Gray Provincial Park as it is a place I have not had the chance to explore much, but want to in the near future. By creating a podcast and video about adventure in Wells Gray I believe this will bring a fresh perspective to the topic because majority of the recordings and memoirs available are published in books and brochures, rather then ways that the next generation of adventurers can easily access.

This website will be different from others by the way that the stories are distributed. While most websites show primarily photos and text, this website will also include the video and audio component that is important to separate this website from others.
